Options for charging your device
Nowadays, we have a lot of options on how to charge our devices. There are many chargers, adapters and docks to choose from, so we have collected and categorized them to make it easier for you to make a decision if your goal is to charge your devices.
What is very important is that you should never, under any circumstances, buy crappy, low-quality chargers, because this will significantly shorten the battery life of your devices.
The first and perhaps the most common are the factory cables. Of course, due to its factory nature, it will perfectly pick up the values that your phone requires. Unfortunately, it cannot be called durable, the part under the cable end breaks apart in many cases. If you often carry the cable with you, or simply don't want to take care of it, you may have to invest in such a factory cable several times a year. Buy such a cable if you do not trust accessories from other brands and you are committed to the manufacturer of your phone (e.g. Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi).
Reinforced cables, which are coated with some kind of strong material (including textile, plastic, metal), were created in response to the above-mentioned tearing and breaking problem. With this type of charging cable, you can make a long-term deal, as it will stand the test of time in any extreme case. Often, the parts under the cable end are provided with additional reinforcements so that your cable cannot break during use.
Extra long cables are another convenient option in the wide range of charging cables. In many cases, it happens that our device is plugged into the charger on one side of the bed, but we want to rest on the other side (or press our phone). In this case, the short 90-100 cm version should not be an obstacle, as the long cables are also available in 2 or even 3 meter versions.
Charging your phone in the car is a common habit these days, and it can often be a distraction while driving. Cables winding back and forth around the center console can be dangerous, and our hands can get caught when changing gears. It is worth choosing a car charging cable, which, thanks to its spiral design, does not normally take up much space in the car and will not be a disturbing factor.
Magnetic charging cables also increase the user's sense of comfort. The essence of this is that the cable head itself (which is not included with the cable) must be placed in the socket of the device, and it is not necessary to take it out. When charging, you only need to hold the cable close to the bottom of the device, and as a result, the cable head and the cable will immediately connect with the help of magnets. This avoids, for example, placing the micro USB cable upside down in the phone socket, and you do not have to bother with the exact insertion of the cable head before charging.
Nowadays, device manufacturers (e.g. Apple) do not always put a charging adapter in the box of their newly purchased phones, only a Type-C - Lightning cable. That is why many people are forced to buy a charging adapter for their iPhone, and it is worth being aware of the options here as well.
Of course, you can buy the factory Apple Adapter (A1400 - small version) or its fast charging version. Due to its factory, original nature, it will of course provide the charging values prescribed by your device perfectly, but it is not always the most suitable purchase in terms of price value.
In case you don't want to spend HUF 10-15 thousand for what you would expect to come with your newly purchased iPhone, choose a good quality aftermarket version from well-known brands (Spigen, Joyroom, 4smarts, Baseus), which are 100% they won't reduce your battery life and are much cheaper.
